Well Wizard c'mon... we're still building the D!

With... a top 5 pick, 2 other 1st round picks, highest paid safeties in the NFL, a 2nd round pick, high amount spent on a DE... a 1st rounder at ILB... a HOF ILB (who is still the best on the team for LBers), a high paid EDGE, two high 2nd round EDGE players... clearly this is why the defense is not performing! It's still in rebuild mode!!!

Joking aside, as I wrote all that we've invested in the D it baffles me it's this terrible...

Woolen is perfectly fine in coverage... he can't stop the run which is poor coaching given how young he is (since it was a liability when he was drafted) and our defense not being able to scheme anything but soft dumbass zone 24/7 without the personnel or scheme to do it.

Oh Fudge, Diggs is gone. He's been horrible all season and is one of the worst starting FS in the league at THIS point. You're hanging on to him too long like so many are hanging onto Carroll. After his big injury I think it was over (which is too bad). Diggs is like a $21M cap hit next season. There's a ZERO chance he is worth top 5 let alone top 15 safety money.

Diggs will in no way shape and form be on this roster next year unless he restructures his contract to make $2M per year and pay back Seattle (lol). I assume he'll just retire.
