Seattle has a huge stretch to lineup for the playoffs. Packers Vikings are tough games which I feel the Seahawks must split with these two to have a shot.

Packers defense has been on fire, specifically their defensive line against the run. Going to be a tough task for our offensive line. We need to put up at least 24 points in this game to have a shot in my opinion.

Our offense needs to show up. Can’t make the stupid errors that we’ve been making all season. Last week was one of the cleaner games we’ve had so let’s hope that’s a common thing today.

Defensively, we need to contain Jacobs and not allow to play action pass to beat us downfield. That is the strength of Green Bay. Also need to ensure that Kraft is held in check.

Packers will be the best team the Seahawks have faced all year. One of their starting corners (Jaire Alexander) and a backup safety (Javon Bullard) are out with injuries, so they could be vulnerable in the secondary.

This will be a big test to see if the run defense is for real. As you said containing Jacobs is is key. He went off for 3 TDs against the Lions but didn't have a lot of yards... Jones is also dangerous out of the backfield so we have to be thinking about that.

Love is putting together a good season but it's not elite. That said, the Packers have almost the lowest sacks allowed (sack % rate) in the NFL. So getting to Love is going to be a problem which is why stopping the run will be important because otherwise playaction will work beautifully. We'll see how MacDonald can scheme up against the Packers because it's going to require those kind of schemes and 'weird' defensive looks to get any sort of realistic pressure on Love.

Green Bay also has a pretty stout run defense but they are bottom half in the league on pressures, hurries, etc. They don't blitz very often either... so we really need a good performance from Geno. If Seattle can run the ball effectively (big ask) we should be very strong on offense. Alexander and Bullard being out is big, that will allow us to pass if we can't get the run going, and DK will draw double teams as a result of Alexander being out.

Special teams cannot have another Jets performance and expect to win this game. If that happens again, you may have to take a hard look at Harbaugh in the offseason.

Seattle and GB are two of the most penalized teams in the league as well. And neither team is great at converting 3rd down (about average, Seattle slightly ahead). GB and Seattle both had 19 penalties over their last 3 games.

I think this is one big thing to watch out for and may actually determine who wins the game (outside of a slew of turnovers like the Jets), penalties. If GB gets like 8 and we get 4... that can swing the tide. I know Hall didn't get any sacks last week but he forced like 2-3 holding penalties. That's not AS good as a sack, but it's close. And with GB not being amazing at converting 3rd downs (and 3rd and long) - with our secondary we should be able to force punts off that.

I would say the Lions and Bills would have something to say about the Packers being the best team we have faced all year.

Lions I think we would've stood a chance had half the defense not been out, lol. Oh wait, we did stand a chance even with that, lol. Bills properly spanked us though. I'd agree the Lions/Bills (if roughly the same health) are better than the Packers.

Vikings still in play for the #1 seed. They are a very good team with a brutal schedule to end this season ( Seahawks Packers Lions to end the season.) Having GB and then the Vikings the next two will show us fans if the Hawks are Playoff worthy or pretenders.

Who cares what other teams do, win your damn games and control your own damn destiny.

THESE are the Games that Geno typically messes up, fingers crossed.

This was supposed to be a no blood pressure game at this point... WTF is Seattle doing? Can I just get one season of peace?

what scares me is the NFL would benefit the most with a Seahawk loss making MORE GAMES mean something for more teams. color me jaded but thats just a feeling i have deep in my soul.

I said this early on... most penalized teams in the league, Seattle/GB are up there (but Seattle is top 5). It's shit like that that loses games. 25+ yards on one play? That shit changes games.

Its a fucking 4 yard play the ball needs to come out RIGHT NOW not some 15 yard pattern!

This is a top 10 defense you got to hit those quick plays damn it.
