It started out really good JMR.. a lot of under center formations, some good runs, shorter passes... then it just morphed RIGHT BACK to shotgun deep passing bullshit... I get our D (unsurprisingly) allowed an 8 minute TD drive (AGAIN) but there's no reason to abandon what was working against San Fran. Hell even when we ended the first series, we started going back to that stupid ass shotgun shit that Grubb just can't let go of... and then SHOCKER, the over the snap play that resulted in another -15 yards... lmao... it's a fuckin' joke.

I would love to see Grubb out of here after this season. The first thing McVay did (as an offensive mastermind) was bring in Wade Phillips who was a defensive guru. Putting Mac as young as he was as HC with a ROOKIE college OC was absolutely insane. I think we wanted Ben Johnson, and Ben returned to Detroit so we did a bit of a patch job and got Grubb. I think Grubb is gone after this season, and I do blame a good chunk of the OL problems on him with this ridiculous 'go to the line and I'll mail it in' style of offense he's running.

Dee Williams being injured may be an improvement... as much as I don't like saying that... he's been horribly inconsistent in the return game this year.

Could be a mistake for sure to have a new NFL OC with a rookie H/C. I would be surprised if we fired him after just 1 season, but I guess we'll see. How things go to finish out the year will probably weigh heavily (CPT Obvious statement, I know).
