Defense is undoubtedly better from where it was 3 weeks ago. But no less frustrating

It's the same crap. We can't get off the field... 3rd down conversions are made SO easily by opposing teams, we can't get a consistent pass rush, offenses are running 8-9 minute drives against us and STILL scoring TDs...

Eh, as I said before this game, I'm in complete 'whatever'. Grubb's offense is the most ridiculous thing I've seen in recent memory, and Mac's stupid soft zone play and lack of dialing up appropriate pressure/blitzes is pathetic. Whatever, we're down 14-6 (or will be, I'll just put the score up now that we all know will happen) despite a near red zone interception that we forced...

Nah they'll get some 20 yard play from a pass to a WIDE OPEN runningback or Purdy will run it for 15 yards... and then with 3rd and 8 they'll have an easy conversion.

Yeah, I wouldn't say the D has been more good than bad or good today. They have had a couple of timely plays for sure.

Defense actually stood and stopped them on 3rd and 23... lol, course if Mafe didn't knock that down that's probably a 1st down.

Just don't turn it back over to San Fran with a bunch of stupid deep pass calls, Grubb... you have time, you have timeouts... maybe try going back under center where you had success? Eh who am I kidding, we're probably looking at 3 straight shotgun passes...
