Looking like its gonna be a low scoring game. Not taking the chip shot field goal could end up costing big.

What a shock, that's exactly what happened. How many years combined experience do Fangio and Shurmur have? Yet they don't realize TAKE THE FREAKIN' POINTS!!!!!!!

That was some Kirk Ferentz type clock management by Fangio. Nothing like ending a 2 pt loss with the ball and all 3 timeouts left lol

That's the problem with a head coach like Fangio so involved in the defense. Game management is a huge problem for him. I'm glad we saved our two timeouts for nothing. We could've had 40 to 50 seconds on the clock with one or two timeouts left still.

Same crap- Outplay the opponent. Offense ho hum and find a way to lose in the end.

I’d like to hear his response for not calling at least 1 timeout during the Titans final drive. Would’ve saved 30 seconds.

The key play was Juedy's second drop on that 1st down play. We would've been in field goal range and burned another minute or 2 of the clock.

I’m telling you NFL coaches are not smart.
Vic leaves 3 timeouts and Shurmer fails to properly use the guy they paid $8M to

Did we even attempt a pass to Fant in the 2nd half?

Edit: was he ever targeted after his TD catch?

Yep Unfortunately have to agree Jeudy was the goat this game.
I see Desaun was his normal self.

Keys to poor execution. Hamilton wide open twice and Lock missed him once on 3rd down and once in end zone to seal the game.
Jeudy dropped 3rd down pass.
Johnson personal foul on dope Ojemudia int.
Game changes
Coaching was bad tonight, IMO.

Atleast we get 6 timeouts next week to start the game. New rollover rule Vic must know about

The problem is the Titans had the same situation and they didn’t take the points they went for it. The only difference is they were able to make it and we didn’t.

We saw some good and some bad last night. The Offense was not over matched by the Titans D and were able to move the ball. The run D was pretty good considering the back they were playing. Very few penalties.

Not sure what the heck happened to the offense in the3rd quarter but they could not do anything right. Pass D was not very good last night, but hoping it was more about stopping Henry then that poor of coverage. Offense couldn’t get the first down they needed up 1 in the 4th that would have almost sealed the game.

All the hype over the off-season and it all lead to disappointment.

My takeaways:
1. Jeudy, this is the pros - you need to ratchet up the concentration level. Every drop is big and those two tonight stung. (I believe he will figure that out.)
2. Fangio has to be better than that. By the way, expect to hear from the league about mask wearing protocol.
3. This loss was on the O. You can’t leave your defense out to dry like that by being off the field so much of the night. At altitude time of possession does matter, especially when the loser of that battle is dead tired on the field trying to stop a game winning drive.
4. if you’re a believer in building a team from the inside (OL & DL) out, you have to love this team. Offensive line played really well last tonight. Did anyone hear Bolles name called out? I didn’t think so. Not knowing much about the OL, it appeared that Cushenberry played well. The interior of the DL was awesome until they wore down at the end of the game.
5. Chubb, we are going to need more from you. You were invisible last night.
6. After going 4-1 last year, Lock is now 0-1 with a tough matchup with the Stillers this week. He left a lot of points on the field last night and clock management wasn’t stellar. We deserved to lose as its uncommon for a team to miss 3 FGs inside the 50 in one game.
7. It’s a young team and we have to expect being disappointed like this more times this year. Plus we have been hit hard with the injury bug. But I hope we stay the course and get a little better each week.

Just coming by to share my irritation. Had to stay up till damn near 130am to watch this crap, and for it to end like that kept me up fuming until about 330am. Total JV botch job with the time management at the end. We have even 30-40 seconds and 3 timeout there and I really like out chances to get McNugget inside 55 yards. Couldn't one of the other coaches have spoken up to such an OBVIOUS clock situation? Wtf?....

Gordon is the better back
1st game too cute for Shurmur
Run Gordon 4 times from the 2
And win the fooking game
We saw this crap last year and getting tired of too close. Coaches need to be better.
