Gordon is the better back
1st game too cute for Shurmur
Run Gordon 4 times from the 2
And win the fooking game
We saw this crap last year and getting tired of too close. Coaches need to be better.

This sums it up.

Tyrie caught his first pass and Ojemudia had an INt taken away. I though OJ and Bassey played very well maybe minus the last drive.

I hope Shurmur shows a bit more creativity with the offense when we get Sutton and Hamler back. There’s no reason to slow play this offense anymore. Throw the kids in the deep end and see what they’re made of. Lock has to be better. Throw his feet to the fire.

Not utilizing Fant in the second half is criminal, you talk about a serious mismatch. Hes the walking epitome of it

Any word on Bouye?

I hope Sutton can return next week, it would be a huge help. Patrick and Hamilton were the most experienced receivers last night.

I too would have run Gordon 4 times at the goal line - that why he was brought in. He did have a costly fumble though - Lindsay doesn't fumble.

I really don't blame the offense - new OC's went 2-7 on the first week of play and the Broncos were without the RT and the best receiver. no KJ - then Lindsay went out of the game. The Titan's are one of the top 4 teams in the AFC.

The effort was good - I hate to lose, but there is a lot to build on from this game.

Lock - did his job pretty well.

I think we did an awful job exposing the Titans CB's last night when they were down their top 3 after Joseph went out.

Open the playbook a bit more.

We have Sutton and Miller no doubt we win this game, but that's life.

Lock was a bit up and down, but I think unlike any other QB we have had since Manning he showed more to be excited about then to be down about. Lets remember he is still sorta a rookie with only 6 games of starting experience. Yeah, he should have grown a lot from one season to the next but with no PS games and all.. He is going to get better and get consistent and things will be fine in Denver. Like Mingo said we lost to a pretty good Titans team.

Just stings a bit that it feels like same ole crap of finding a way to lose a close game that we was there for us to take.

Considering our 3-5 WR's played all game and we lost Lindsey for over a half of the game, I'm okay with this performance. Taking advantage of rookie db's isn't as easy when you're playing a journeyman WR and two rookies as well.

We need to run the ball more, period.

Lock did a good job avoiding the rush, making throws on the run, and general game leadership. He missed at least 2 passes for td's. That must get better.

Jeudy was forcing things, trying to do too much. Relax kid, you're going to be great.

Fant is a beast. Easily almost as good as the Titan's Hall of Famer. :rolleyes2:

Chubb looked like he had a vasectomy in pregame.

Simmons missed on a few plays; not real thrilled with his play either.

Overall brightest spots:

We have a damn good punter.
Oje was great, as was Bassey.
Overall very pleased with the defense.

Worst spots:

Coaching staff. Horrible clock management, and cutsie offensive play calling.

LINDSAY- I don't really look at him going out as a big loss for us this game or a reason for why we lost. We do need him, but Gordon ran really well after Linsday was out. I look at the loss more as the offense not being fully in synch yet, inexperience on the offense and some poor coaching decisions.

I think young teams on offense are really going to hurt early on with no PS and camp being rather odd because of the lack of time used to get on the same page. Tennessee has primarly the same offense returning from last year in which they made it to the AFC title game. Huge advantage in this case.

These Broncos are not contenders for this year's Super Bowl. The Starters on offense average under 25 years of age. This year is the shake down cruse for next year's contention. I expect to enjoy it as it unfolds.

Right- Key is to see young offense get better and have good steam going into 2021 offseason.

We may very likely start 0-3 which will be tough but.

Injury updates
Lindsay- Like I said before Fangio called it a mild turf toe. Wouldn’t comment on him playing this week. My gut tells me he does miss this week.

Sutton- Questionable right now which seems like what we expected. I wouldn’t be surprised if he missed one more week.

Hamler- Full go in practice. He looks good to play this week. Apparently, nearly played this week.

I really appreciate Lock's loyalty to his alma mater. Did you notice how he tried to finish Butt's knees off once and for all with that goal line shovel pass? Totally trying to hook up Albert with an expanded roll.

I think Lock looked ok. Needs to clean up some stuff. A young offense taking live fire. It's going to take more work. We have a lot of strong pieces in place. Another big challenge next week. Steelers look stout on both sides of the ball.

As 9News reported last night, A.J. Bouye's shoulder popped out and was popped back in on play late in 1st half. Highly questionable for Sunday vs. PIT but there is hope he can play with harness -- as Champ Bailey did in 2005. Bouye was having terrific game until injury.

Fangio said no update on Bouye. Shoulder pop out wouldn’t be the worst thing! I feared a broken collarbone.

Steelers have so much speed at WR with JuJU, Johnson and Washington.
