Bracketology - Greatest Quarterback of All Time - NFL.com

the poll is for greatest qb of all time and they included Russell Wilson into the tournament-style poll. His first round opponent just happens to be probably the greatest qb of all time: Peyton Manning. The polls close tomorrow and right now Russell has a slight edge. Lets flood the ballot box!!

Of course I voted for Wilson, but the fact he is nearly 30k votes up on Peyton Manning in a discussion about the greatest QB of active players is kind of a joke really. Shows how flawed these public voting things really are. Wilson is kind of popular right now with what happened in the SB. Maybe more importantly is how bad Peyton was in that game, but does that one recent game define both and place RW again of him? Not by a long shot.

RW > PM by over 30k votes? :L Wow.

I tried to vote but couldn't find any button to submit my selections once I picked them. I could be blind but I couldn't see anything to click after picking the 4 players.

What on Earth is Russell Wilson doing on this list to begin with?!?!

And no, I'm not trash talking, or being facetious. Even as a Rams fan, you can count me in as a fan of Russell Wilson. But, I really want someone to truly and honestly tell me, as of today, how his name belongs anywhere even remotely near this list.

I'm aware he just beat Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl... but Manning "should" absolutely walk away with this round.

Surely you all agree... Right?

Of course we all agree. It's hilarious, though!

Its just the way they named the brackets. Wilson got included in the "right now" bracket. Nobody with any basis in reality believes Wilson's career resume is better than Brady or Manning or Brees or Rodgers at this point in time.

Clicking the checks is your vote and it's counted after you click it. I've taken several polls and whatnot at NFL.com and that's how they always do it.

Oh OK. Thanks.

Where does it show the vote totals then?

People can vote as many times as they like and it would appear that Seattle/Wisky/Wilson fans are going crazy on this vote.

hmm, yesterday I pulled up nfl.com on my phone and it had Russell listed as the 6th seed again Rodgers and Rivers was facing Peyton. but on my computer its still Russell vs. Peyton. Only difference now is that they are only showing percentages instead of raw votes

Vote in for Russell :suds:

How are Rich Gannon, Donovan McNabb & Drew Bledsoe winning?
Those all border on how silly it is that Russell is beating the shit out of Peyton (unless we're talking about the Super Bowl )

HaHa! Wilson is on to the second round. Cripes, Peyton Manning didn't even make it. Kinda shows how flawed this poll is considering this is supposed to be a "greatest of all time" kind of thing, not just really good in the past two years. Oh, well. I gotta admit Russell getting through is kinda fun.

Not a chance in hell Wilson gets in over Rodgers. I kind of get Peyton. Don't agree with it AT ALL, but I get it. Rodgers? No freaking way. I'm sure he loses with no more than 25% of the vote.

I think about 65% of the voters are Seahawks fans....
Good-god, it's going to come down to RW vs. Drew Bledsoe for the Greatest QB of all time
