His agility is at least as good as Wilson's agility. Wilson does get sacked a lot but his agility is what makes him special

Wilson gets sacked because he knows he has the #1 defense behind him and can afford the sack instead of throwing up a prayer....

Speaking of throwing up a prayer - that tendency is what will make Manziel exciting to watch, especially for the NFL DB's. He will likely end up beating "cellar dwellers" and not much more. He is basically Tim Tebow but with a big mouth!

There hasn't been any solid or franchise Qb's drafted since Tebow came out.

Nah. Kap, RW, Cam, and Luck. Some others are developing still. That's not bad at all.

Put me in the camp that says Manziel will not succeed in the NFL. My reasons are that I think he lacks the work ethic needed to make it. To really succeed in any line of work you need the drive to be the best. To be the best you make your career #1 and you don't let anything come between that.
I just don't see that drive with Manziel.

He is nothing like Tim Tebow, although Ill admit Im a skeptic of Manziel at the next level, too. He's a fringe first round prospect that needs to sit and could become a star if he lands on the right team but the odds of everything working out for him seem slim. He basically needs to land on a great team that needs a QB...like the Texans but he isnt worth the #1 overall

All these teams looking for a QB, I see him going top 5.

I'm thinking if he slides in the draft, the team that may move up to get him would be SF. CP's $20 million comment may be the most absurd thing ever, and I bet Coach Harbaugh would be the perfect guy for him

I don't see it happening, but that would make for some interesting threads here for sure.

I just want to see the Vikings draft him. He has time to learn the position and learn the reads, with the two other qb's getting most of the playing time anyway. It won't take much to pass Ponder on the depth chart, and who knows, he may surprise all of us, With the way the Vike's pick qb's, they have to get lucky sooner or later.
Go Vike"s

I voted no.

Let's assume the Steelers need a QB - which we don't - but I think this kid simply isn't stout enough for the NFL. I think he'll snap like a twig when he starts getting hit by these big LB's and DE's. Hell, even the big boys like Big Ben have trouble getting up at times.

I also think he lacks maturity. He seems to have an 'all about me' attitude about him.

So even if I needed a QB, I don't draft him.

Not in the 1st, but he could be a WR one day or wildcat guy with an option to throw :laugh3:

I think the attitude and the maturity will be his downfall. He's talented, but I get the impression he thinks everything wrong is because of somebody else. How hard does he work? I don't know, but it won't matter if he isn't willing to look in the mirror and only in the mirror.

No. Not even as a UDFA should he get a spot.

We've done this before but Ive actually looked over a lot of the QBs at this point so Ill give my .02 again.

I wouldn't mind the Rams taking him in Rd3 but not before that. The Rams could theoretically run their offense like Seattle. I just think he is too big on an injury risk and Id rather the team draft someone with a big arm like Mettenberger or Carr and try to develop them.
