Shannahan said that Hagelin's may go down if Alfie can play.

I had to leave after the first period of the Pens/Flyers game yesterday. the last bad thing I saw a Pens player do was Asham introducing himself to Schenn's throat and a suspension. What did Neal do?
RealKyper: #SNPlayoffs breaking news. #Penguins Neal will have 2 separate #NHL discipline hearings Tues 10am. Asham will follow with in person @ 11am
Two separate hearings? That's crazy...
hopefully 2 suspensions the fistr being 1 game and the 2nd being 2, I'm pretty sure he's already been fined so I don't see how he doesn't get games out of it.
On a side not Asham is a scumbag and deserves at least 3 in my opinion a crosscheck to the throat can kill a guy and that kind of stupid play isn't needed in the league.

we all knew something like this was going to happen once Weber got off with a slap on this 7 million dollar wrist

I got crosschecked in the throat once.
No penalty, of course.
I did not return in that game.
I had it happen once too, they had to put a tube in my throat cause I couldn't breath right. Those types of blatant disregaurd for others' safety need to be removed. I'm not sure Asham is quite on Boulerices level and Boulerice charge in, left his feet and then delivered the high cross check and I remember. It was clear(to me at least) that Asham's intent was to injure Schenn and I hope Shanny throws the book at him.
I got my hands up just enough to keep the damage from being too bad.
That was the closest I ever came to scoring a goal, too. I might have scored and not gotten decked if that pass had been to my stick and not my feet.
I hit the back of my head on the ice, and that's what kept me down for a little while. Fortunately, I was wearing my helmet properly and was no concussed.
not sure if its the same in hockey, but in soccer we called that a hospital pass
