As long as pitching and defense is there, I think they'll be good enough to get timely hitting. These aren't the old Rangers but I'll take this bunch over any previous team because of the pitching we have.

It happens. The best pitcher period will lose some 2 run games. The pitching is good enough to make up for the offense. You of all people should know better than to hold up one game as the example to project long term results.

No, you just said that if they have their fair share of low scoring (meaning 2-3 run games) they would lose the division. That's simply not true.
