Well here are 2 more positives I'm taking out of this team.

The Heat last lost B2B games in early Jan...Why start now?

Also the Heat have yet to lose 3 in a row in their first 101 games this year. Why start one now?

We will see, but Popovich did his coaching all season long like when he sent Parker and Duncan home instead of making them play a game in Miami that he knew would be a lose lose situation. Now he is in the finals and it's Wade with the bum knees - not Parker and not Duncan.

That was coaching at it's best

Because it's the playoffs and the regular season stats don't mean a thing - lol, but don't feel bad, the Sacramento Kings thought the same thing in the Western Conference finals in 2002 when Robert Horry hit the game winning 3 point shot in the final seconds of the game - two games in a row. That was one hell of a series and honestly - the Lakers got lucky as hell in that one twice

The Heat doesn't have to lose two games in a row to lose this series though. Even if the Heat take game 4 which I expect they will - Then the Spurs take game 5 going back to Miami with only one of two wins needed to finish the series. If I am the Spurs, I am not worried about winning two in a row. I am going to be happy with the one of two in Miami twice. Two in a row would be nice for the Spurs though, but I seriously doubt that Popovich ever thought it was going to be that easy

Not one to rejoice over injuries but if Tony can sit out thursday and rest up for a critical game 5 in a 2-2 series I'm all for it.

You need a healthy Tony Parker for the final 3 games of the series

I'm still not sold on the Spurs......I think they may have just shot their load.

Until I see it happen again I can't see Green and Neal shooting 80+% from 3 again. I can't see the Spurs breaking or even coming close to their new 3 pointer game record.

You just can't predict that kind of output from guys that give you 9 points on average, it just doesn't happen. Without the 3s, Miami would have had a chance in that game.

I still think it's anybody's finals.

Miami wasn't exactly as hot as their previous game either. No team can keep up that kind of shooting, but if LeBron doesn't start shooting first this will be a short series for Miami. 5 game prediction is looking good right about now but Game 4 (as suspected) will be the pivotal game of the Finals.

Not sold on the Spurs.

LOL!

Shot their load.

Wow!

That's just an ignorant thing to say.

About either team.

The Spurs and the Heat are in the NBA Finals.

Obviously, they are doing something right.

I'm not sold that they will continue to get 51 points off the bench and break NBA 3 pointer records......is that better for you?

I don't think anyone is sold on that.

Still, that doesn't account for the fact that Miami also was held to 77. Spurs won't need 51 points off the bench and to break 3-point records if Miami can only score 77.

But, Miami hasn't lost back-to-back games all postseason....

and neither has San Antonio.

But, of course, let's just dismiss all that and keep polishing that trophy for LeBron and keep thinking the Spurs have no shot.

I've never once said the Spurs have no shot. But I do believe if both teams play at their best Miami is slightly better.

I have no dog in this fight, I'm a Mavs fan. If it was up to me a meteor would have dropped on that building last night and wiped out both teams.

Celtics had an impressive run for the small window they were given, glad the Lakers took a dump on it.

The Heat have had it easy already this season. Just look at all the injuries. Rose, Deng, Granger, Westbrook. Mine as well add Parker then to make bandwagon Heat fans feel special by winning a fake Championship. Go Spurs!!
