It’s hard when the NBA has fully guaranteed contracts so unless you trade a guy you can’t just cut him and keep that money. Giving Reggie a lower deal and a player option to begin with could be debated as a smart move or not but it really worked out the year they won the title, last year not so much.

It depends on if they re-sign KCP or not. If so they’ll have very little money but can hopefully find a veteran on a cheap deal.

Prospect grades have become inflated over the past few years.

Used to be only a small handful of 5 stars and 4 stars ran out well before 100.

Low end top 100 should not be a 4 star IMO.

That isn’t a knock on Bronny.

But you know he isn’t even thinking about the draft after his freshmen season if he is anyone else.

I agree with both of you on this.

Bronny was a legit top 100 level guy (and frankly it’s more tiers rather than the exact number, eye of the beholder and all) and if dad was 33 or 34 instead of 39 he almost certainly stays in school as well

If it's mid to late 2nd round.....sometimes it is better to be undrafted....they can pick where they want to go and some of those deals are guaranteed, wether or not they make the team.

Jackson can be replaced with any malcontent in the league. He’s going to get the record for most teams played for while never being missed once.

Nuggets already have a rookie from last year going into his second year that is gonna replace Jackson’s production, now they’ll need a back up to that guy but it’s not a big loss.

Also with the way Malone coaches and having Jokic, when Murray is off the floor they may not use an another PG to they may go with 2 SG’s which Denver is strong at.

They should offer him an assistant role. I always thought the Lakers could've done that with Dudley towards the end of his playing career, would've saved a roster spot and some cap $.
