Pop showed why he's not quite as good as Phil....that was by not playing Tim Duncan late in game 6 on defense. Phil Jackson almost always went with his starters. Many times Phil had his starters play 46-48 minutes in a finals game. Going to your bench that much makes a weaker case for the legendary status of the starters. Spoelestra had to go to the bench too much himself to bail out his starters. A great finals is when the superstar starters play over 45 minutes of the game, not like this one where they weaseled their way through it with the bench.
