And yet, they held said team to no TD's. I believe now that leaves their away game opponents TDs to "1" in the last 6 weeks. So sure, let's lay this one all on the defense after that offensive barrage of a whole 10 points which seems adequate for some. I'd hope everyone finally realize, FOOTBALL, of all sports, easily represents that the great teams are the sum of all its parts, big or small, and every other sport can succeed on a "playing out of their mind, unconscious, etc. etc. Football is a good metaphor for battlefield strategy.Great win but it's tough to overlook the fact that the defense allowed a 6th team this season to get into position to win the game again... I'll take it though...

The defense played a hell of a game.
And now the defense implodes!
If I'm Carroll I'm not giving the ball to Michael and risk that turnover. That's for sure. Short passes or give it on a fly sweep or anything else.
Speaking of Michael, he played very good today considering he didn't get the reps a starting RB would normally get during the week... He also had a key, 3rd down catch for a 14 yard conversion... I thought he played good...
I'd still take a healthy lynch over him every day, all day, without question. And I'd be surprised to not see him back next week.Speaking of Michael, he played very good today considering he didn't get the reps a starting RB would normally get during the week... Yeah, check out the Are the Seahawks the Luckiest team ever thread. People are genuinely pissed that Seattle would dare to celebrate a playoff victory.
Didn't say he sucked or didn't do what was asked. All I said is if Lynch is available I'd take him in these big moments every time. Maybe Michael has again earned a look next year to make this team, but in the big spotlight on the big stage I'm taking the guy with all the experience and solid ball handling history.Who wouldn't but he's done a very good job for us filling in, no? Dude went to 3 teams, castoff, etc and still has produced for us w/out one single TO... Seriously, what more can you ask from the guy? He outperformed AP today too...
I thought he played well too. Fewer carries than AP yet 50% more yards, but all we heard pre-game was how AP was going to have such a better game than last matchup. He actually got worse in YPC....Speaking of Michael, he played very good today considering he didn't get the reps a starting RB would normally get during the week...
