I'm 100% certain he won't be on the team next year but to be honest, there isn't anyone available via FA that is any better atm, imo...

At this point we might find a high-shcool kicker that's better... There has to be some veteran guy's out there somewhere, this will cost us this season if we make no move.. How many chances is this guy gonna get ? Someone out there HAS to be better than this...

Back to bevell as usual, a futile first half of offense. Where did last weeks O go?

I can't believe he threw that pick, committed a penalty on a 35 yard gain and missed that field goal.

Look, the reality is there's a lot more asked of pro kickers than simply being able to kick a ball between the uprights from 40+ yards away (really up to 50+). There are hundreds of guys that can kick it straighter and longer than Blair that aren't on NFL teams right now. Doing it under pressure with these pros coming at you with the quick actions required is a whole different thing.

There's a reason so many kickers last well into their 40's. Finding the ones that are high percentage kickers are somewhat rare.

Blair isn't it though clearly and a project kicker would be worth it at this point.
