Could certainly pay dividends after this year, but not sure it helps us this year. This draft feels like it could pay off next year, but leaving to question what about this year?

He should be that red zone threat at TE that could make life miserable for defenses when we run 2 or 3 TE sets near the goal line.

This is why you can't go by the Mock but go by what the Team's board looks like... CP wasn't even ranked in the next top 12 TE's on Mel Kipers list...

Could certainly pay dividends after this year, but not sure it helps us this year. This draft feels like it could pay off next year, but leaving to question what about this year?

There's been a lot of talk about how with the shut down and all that this draft is more about 2021 than 2020, since rookie minicamps and other training opportunities that are usually there won't be this year.

Really? NFL.com had him as the #5 TE. Even the experts can't agree on players.

I know nothing about this kid, but I like what I see in that highlight real. At first glance I like his speed and size, plus looks like he has great hands too.

Possibly but I like it... Especially with our top 2 TE's being injury prone... Also, great opportunity for CP to learn under Greg Olsen for a year... Olsen seems like he'd be a great mentor who would actually embrace the mentorship role...

Yeah they had Hunter Bryan rated Higher than him but i don't see it. Bryant is more like just a fat WR not a true TE. They are very close in my eye but Parkinson is built more like a true TE. I feel bad for Bryant but at 6 foot 2 he shouldn't expect a lot of interest as a TE.

I love that he's 6'7" with decent speed and great hands.
