Greg Olsen is mid-30s and Dissly hasn't been able to play even half a season yet. Some people wanted a RB early because ours were injured for the playoffs, well so were our TEs. This guy looks like a pretty fluid athlete, good red zone target, and he may be stepping into Olsen's role this time next year. Doesn't mean he can't contribute as a rookie either.

I know nothing about this kid, but I like what I see in that highlight real. At first glance I like his speed and size, plus looks like he has great hands too.
Seems like a more athletic Luke W and definitely better hands.

Really? NFL.com had him as the #5 TE. Even the experts can't agree on players.

You're right... I looked at it 'after' he was drafted... My bad...

*** that's something i've been saying to my wife lately so you should feel privileged... ;)

That's a lot of tight ends on our roster.

Olsen, Dissly, Hollister, Willson, Parkinson, Johnson? Jesus Christ...

I really don't think it's smart to let Dissly/Hollister/Willson go which means Olsen is probably getting cut after camp? I'll be fairly annoyed if that $8M is what stopped us from resigning Clowney. There's no way we can keep 5 tight ends...

I really have zero clue why this was a pick... unless they know that Willson/Dissly are basically done due to injuries.

Good future prospect.

Just think.

Russ has a 6'4 and 6'7 targets. Just play a little Jump ball 30 yards out ;)

I think it is really unlikely we will get 16 games from Olsen. And I think the Hawks really want to a lot of 12 formations. Sounds like he's more of a receiving weapon than a block weapon so he'll need to work on that. Rotating Dissly, Olsen, and Parkinson should be pretty exciting.

But having Metcalf, Olsen and Parkinson on the field is going to be make defenses really stressed with their height.

Nick Harris is a GAMER.... I would love for us to nab him late (last pick). No idea if he would/should last until the 6th round.

maybe not CB to many have went off the board since they last picked oof. Then again Hall fits the Seattle CB mold. How about a tackle? Trey Adams?

That is really who is he, a slower but better in the receiving game Luke Willson. Not explosive enough to be a Jimmy Graham or as complete as Kittle, but he can become a slightly below average blocker and plays outside in the red zone.

Solid pick. I did want a RB with our first three day 3 picks. Dallas is a decent utility back and secures the ball well. I like it. Also has some return game.

Sounds like the type of back Seattle likes. Receiver and a tough tackle (not necessarily a power runner though).
