Man, SF is going to be tough this year... They're set up for a long run... Just traded for Trent Williams...
I expect them to be a tough opponent again, but I think exactly how tough is going to depend on what sort of improvement if any Jimmy G makes. I don't know that he was necessarily exposed in the playoffs/SB, but there are still doubts about whether he's the kind of QB who can take over games down the stretch when you need that last TD drive to get the W.

Agreed but with a great running game, great defense and even better supporting cast on offense, he may not have to do much but Dilfer it...

trent williams didnt play at all last year and is 31. dude is talented but thats a couple red flags.

patrick taylor jr RB from memphis is a guy we could draft late, he is a chris carson clone.

I'd also be ok if we took a shot at TE, Hunter Bryant from UW...

looks like a run on TEs might be happening, bryant might not make it to us.

Well that certainly could be true for 2020 (assuming there is a season <gulp>), but you have to have something better at QB than a Trent Dilfer level player to sustain success from one season to the next. Dilfer was only able to Dilfer it for 1 year, and that was with a historically great defense and -- holy smokes -- both Jamal Lewis and Priest Holmes. SF's D is not on that level for sure, and I would probably also give the RB edge to the 2000 Ravens. But your point is fair, and I definitely appreciate the Dilfer reference!

Well, with the 118th pick, my entire mock draft was selected (the first time all my selected players were taken). Seattle didn't pick any of them

but you are forgetting, they have a HC that has choked away TWO superbowls.

It wouldn't make me upset for sure....is he too much of a Jimmy Graham type TE for our team though?

I think that's a great pick for Indy. He has lots of talent, just needs to stop trying that Russell spin move.

And, he will have some time to develop if Indy wants him to play in their future.

I thought that at first but then I remember that they want to RW some weapons... He would be a great option on 3rd and long, downfield and in the RZ...

True that. If the goal is to add weapons for Russell, this is a great option. I know his 40 time was surprisingly slow at the combine vs what you see on the field, so maybe they can just move him to WR.

With Seattle less than 10 picks away, I guess I'll update the top list:

  1. Prince Tega Wanogho, T Auburn
  2. Netane Muti, G Fresno State
  3. Bryce Hall, CB Virginia
  4. Tyler Biadasz, C Wisconsin
  5. Curits Weaver, DE Boise State
  6. Troy Dye, Oregon
  7. Tyler Johnson, WR Minnesota
  8. Jake Fromm, QB Georgia
  9. Trey Adams, T Washington

3 picks in 16 selections will be nice, gets most of the Hawks picks out of the way.

Next Gen Stats described the athleticism score as “representing the most important drills at the combine in a single metric that best predicts NFL success for each position.” Athleticism scores range from 50 to 99, and the average score of Seattle’s picks after two days is 97.
