Im not sure where Fisher gets his tallies, but here is mine:

In 2010, SB played in all 16 games. Against our division he had 3 wins and 3 losses. Bradford beat the 49ers, Cards and Seahalks at least once. Then lost to each putting him at 3-3 vs the division.

In 2011, SB didnt do so well. Our team finished the season 2-14. So yah, the division kicked our ass! We went 0-6! But Sam only started in 4 of those games. SO I can only credit him for 4 losses. Clemons played in the other 2 losss.

In 2012, This was probably his best season. He did play in all games vs division ending up with 4 wins, 1 loss and even 1 tie.

In 2013, He only played in 2 games vs division due to season ending knee injury. In the 2 games he had 1 win and 1 loss.

So what does that tally up to?..................... 8 wins 9 losses 1 tie!

Sounds about right. Thanks for doing the leg work on this. I was curious.

The record is Fisher-esque! Just below .500

8-9-1 against NFC west opponents?

Don't tell Les Snead the numbers or else he'll extend Samantha's contract!

I was curious too! How in the hell does Fisher come up with 5-2-1? Well at least he got the tie right! WTF??

Well that 4-1-1 is still very Impressive. that's when the 49ers were in their prime and the Seahawks were very good

The solution seems simple to me.

First... cut Robert Quinn. His 9-14-1 divisional record is clearly an anchor around this team's neck.

Next... sign Seattle longsnapper Clint Gresham. He's set to be a free agent next year and his record against the NFC West since 2010 is 13-11. (14-11 if you count the playoffs.) Not to mention he's sporting a Super Bowl ring.

Can you say "Championship"?

You guys will be sorry if Sam decides to leave. He has the leverage in the situation. The rams are going to have to convince his agent why he should take a $6 million pay cut this year. There isn't a better FA quarterback out there. No he's not going to get 13 million from someone else. But it will be an incentive deal. Do you not think Buffalo, NYJ, Tennessee, Cleveland, Houston, Philadelphia, maybe even Arizona won't try to out bid the Rams. They will try.

I think its pretty funny that Fisher has to lie in his presser about Sammy. I guess its his only way to defend him at this point. I am just surprised that no one called him out on it? All I can say is real fans know the truth!

Yes we will be sobbing if he leaves and takes his 17 million towards the cap elsewhere, while doing nothing but spitting sunflower seeds. Samantha has never taken over a game and displayed anything special. He's been the richest game manager of all time and that was on a good day.

You should give up the crack in 2015 Coug. Just a thought ;)

Typical loyalty run amuk with Fisher. He puts on the same exaggerated and "blind" glasses when he decides to play Wells, Long, and Joseph when he has Robinson sitting on the bench along with Jones, Barnes, Person, and Washington. He did the same thing with Hill over Davis. The man gets something in his head like these false statistics and then refuses to "see" a better alternative when it is right there on his roster. He did the same thing in round seven of last year's draft and with the trade up to get Tavon Austin. All these behaviors foster mediocrity, not a long term strategy that has winning the superbowl as its goal.

Pretty simple when you look at it. Its Sams NFC West record since Fisher has been the HC of the Rams.

:agree: I absolutely agree, it would be different if the older vets that he is sticking with were good or above average, they are not, so you play the young guys just to see what you have! So Fisher is going to stick with these young guys as backups next year, why? You don't even know what you have in them if you aren't playing them!

Here is some more evdience to support what I have been posting concerning Fisher's dichotomous approach to decisions about his team. In the article (link below), he states he anticipates NO changes to the coaching staff for next year and defends Shottenheimer as an excellent OC and brilliant play caller. I didn't believe it either but read it for yourself.

I saw this article but decided I did not want to ruin the last day of the year so I will read it tomorrow.
