If Shotty is an excellent OC, what does that say for the TWENTY-SEVEN OC that finished ahead of him, is there a level above excellent that I don't know about?

:doobs: Hello my name is Jeff Fisher and I have a great offensive coordinator in Brian Schottenhiemer, that is why we are 28th in the league in total offense! Oh by the way, because he did such a great job this year, I see no reason as why he shouldn't continue on due his great coaching skills.

Well in his defense he did lose his starting QB two weeks before the season and had two shitty back ups so they had to down size the play book a ton. Lost his #1 WR and starting LF tackle too. :noidea:

5-2-1?

Points scored: 19, 17, 24 (OT), 17*, 9*, 13, 27, 11.

* means Im not counting Janoris Jenkins returning TDs on defense.

That high mark of 27? Week 1 against the Cardinals. Bradford was 27/38 for 299 yds with 2 TDS and a pick 6 and a bad fumble by Cook who otherwise dominated a game.

So 3 bad games, 3 subpar games and 2 ok games.

Is that really any better than the QB play we had this year?

Thank you!!!!!

But there are still some that won't get it, or ever will?

Stop it, just stop it!

Bradford was not going to win any of the games that we lost, maybe the SD game, but he also very easily could have lost a couple of the games that we did win. We lost Quick who was having a good year, Bailey stepped right in and also did a good job, so that point is moot! Losing Long at LT was a blessing, so your reasons for defending Fisher are pretty much non existent.::lame::doh:

Seriously. You don't think we win more then 6 games with Sam playing all year. He had 3 wins in 6 games last year and that was when Quick didn't have a clue yet. No Britt, Robinson, Donald, Mason, EJ, I say we have 10 wins easy this year with Sam

As SJ has already told you!, lay off the crack!

3 wins against who last year, means Jack Shit! We will never know, could have easily lost the rest of the games. We've already been over this but you just aren't getting it. The defense sucked the beginning of the year, gave up a ton of big plays and points, and we were scoring points, Sammie wasn't going to change that, and score even more points for us, or make the defense better. I seriously doubt Sammie was going to beat Arizona or Seatlle at the end of the year, those two defenses SHUT US DOWN, Sammie wasn't going to change that. The D sucked against Eli Manning and gave up a ton of points, Sammie wasn't going to rally us with 40 points that game. I don't see any games other than " maybe" the SD game that he "might" have helped us. Half of our losses he would have had to put up 40 points for us to win, the other half was against REALLY good defenses and he wasnt going to generate any offense against them either!

I agree Smed

Captain check down wasn't going to turn into Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers this season.

And if Schotty is such an excellent OC, then why is it he can't get Austin involved more in the game plan each week? Just saying.

Actually its a lot worse considedring the amount of $$ that we shelled out for Sammy Softstool vs Davis/Hill for basically the same results

If we are going to have a game manager at QB - and I have no problem with that..

At least have a QB that isn't making over 8-9 million so u can use that money elsewhere. Find a guy with mobility and have him focus on not turning the ball over. Pound the rock on offense and hurt people on defense.

It's basic math really.

What do u think Seattle is doing??

Precisely SJ76. Pounding the rock and controlling the ball on offense and smashing the hell out of people on defense. This is a kid's game. Play it with heart and do the simple necessary things right and winning will be a by-product. Just ask Bill Belecheat and other winning coaches.

Thats the crux of the problem. The Rams are paying Sam top dollar and have gotten zip zero nada for it.

Man, if Kroneke wants to throw away millions of dollars and get little or nothing in return for it, he should send me that money. I guarantee him I'll make very good use of it.

I totally agree with that. Seattle will have a big problem in 16 i believe. Wilson will probably get the biggest NFL contract of all time. then they will have Cap issues. If Cutler got 126m…. holy crap.

If Sam re-does his contract the money argument kinda dies

I don't think Sam will restructure his contract. He has no reason too, Fisher said he will compete for the starting job but because of the contract, he will most likely get the starting job regardless.
