Agreed. But 6th best QB? Is qb play really that bad in the NFL right now?
I wouldn't call it that bad. More likely that average. I've believed for a very long time that when you take out the top 3-5 really good ones in any given year and the bottom 4-5 scrubs, the rest of the QBs are virtually interchangeable and it is strictly based on the talent and coaching around them. Also, every year, 1 or 2 make a jump up and a couple drop off. The league is set up to make average look good at the position because it's the marquis position. Carr, Cousins, Jones, Tannehill, Wilson, Geno, Tua, Goff. Pick any team and mentally insert every one of those QBs and the record, stats and performance are about the same, imo.

1. Patrick Mahomes1. Patrick Mahomes
2. Joe Burrow2. Justin Herbert
3. Josh Allen3. Josh Allen
4. Jalen Hurts4. Aaron Rodgers
5. Justin Herbert5. Jalen Hurts
6. Trevor Lawrence6. Joe Burrow
7. Aaron Rodgers7. Tua Tagovailoa
8. Lamar Jackson8. Dak Prescott
9. Dak Prescott9. Kirk Cousins
10. Russell Wilson10. Derek Carr
2 good lists. I agree more with the Statistical Analysis list than the Scouts’ Opinion list. I think Tagovailoa and Carr are a bit high. I have Tagovailoa, Lawrence, and Jackson competing for #9. Carr and Wilson aren't top 15.
