I wouldn't call it that bad. More likely that average. I've believed for a very long time that when you take out the top 3-5 really good ones in any given year and the bottom 4-5 scrubs, the rest of the QBs are virtually interchangeable and it is strictly based on the talent and coaching around them. Also, every year, 1 or 2 make a jump up and a couple drop off. The league is set up to make average look good at the position because it's the marquis position. Carr, Cousins, Jones, Tannehill, Wilson, Geno, Tua, Goff. Pick any team and mentally insert every one of those QBs and the record, stats and performance are about the same, imo.Agreed. But 6th best QB? Is qb play really that bad in the NFL right now?
