He has struggled since the weekend before the break. The first week of Auguat should have been enough after he struggled mightily over the last 10 weeks last year.

Offensively, Leody is becoming a poor man's Rougned Odor.

I think that ship has sailed, unfortunately. He’s only in there now because Jung is injured and outfielders need a rest or they’re struggling. Once the team is fully healthy and not mired in a collective slump anymore, he’s permanently parked on the bench.

Will Smith has not been good at all lately. Not counting his facing just one batter he has given up a run in 4 of his last 5 appearances.

Seeing that he brought Smith in the 8th maybe he is actually thinking that way. Stratton to me has vaulted into the 8th inning role and Chapman the closer.

Before Smith came in and gave up all of thise runs, I was thinking about the Brewers fouling off all of those pitches and causing Scherzer to leave early. The way it worked out, it didn't really help them for Sherzer to be replaced. Also, if some of those fouls has been hits they might have blown the game open early.
