Milwaukee is working Scherzer like they did Heaney and Dunning. 38 pitches after 2

Automatic outs in the bottom of the Rangers batting order. Maybe there should be a signal like ump holds up 3 fingers

I can't see our offense manufacturing many funs so HR's may be what it takes.

Bases loaded 1 out Scherzer at nearly 60 pitches this is the game. Adams hit by pitch 1-0 Brewers

Scherzer is known for having control problems at times.

Some teams actually have a plan of attack for their offense. I don't think we are one of those teams.

We have a plan today for our offense: Seager and Lowe after them nada

Their game plan against Scherzer: foul it off they have fouled off around 40+ pitches and he’s over 90 with 1 out in the 4th

And that’s it for Scherzer. 3.2 innings, 99 pitches down 3.1. Their game plan worked perfectly

We really need our ace to get healthy, get stretched out, and get back on the mound every fifth game.

We also need our hitters to be much more consistent.

Then maybe we can find a team to cool down the Mariners.

Why is Hiem out of the lineup against RHP?

Our hitters are just flat-out missing every strike that is thrown to them. Nobody except for Corey Seager is hitting the ball hard at all.

When the Brewers throw a strike, one of three things happens- swing and miss, barely foul it off, or weakly pop/ground out. They’re not even coming close to hitting it. And it’s practically the whole lineup in a collective funk.

For the first 2 games you could tip your cap to their pitchers because Woodruff and Peralta are known to shut down offenses (although 18 k’s is ridiculous), but this is Adrian Houser. He’s the definition of mediocre. He’s their Martin Perez. There is no excuse not to hit him. The team is just completely lost at the plate.
