have to disagree on that point. 5th in the AL in runs per game not something to scoff at.
I guess we have different goals then.

And we are close to the middle of the pack in the MLB in avg. and OPS.

I'm not labeling it as a goal. The goal would be to lead the AL in runs scored.
But, it not being a goal was what I said originally, that you said you disagreed with.

"should never be considered any kind of goal accomplished"

So you would agree that being 5th in the AL in runs scored is a positive accomplishment then? Let's remove the "goal" qualifier from the scenario.

I see no reason why we would keep the Minn player on the roster over the winter but I would not condemn him immediately perhaps he can find his control after the TJS and on a minor league contract
This is no big deal. Such a tough crowd at times

There are guys on the team that have made positive accomplishments this year. Team accomplishments are a non-factor to me. I am more interested in what our future championship caliber team looks like. Others may very well look for team accomplishments, but not me.

My original comment was made in regard to team building. To me that means the future WS contending team. I want that team to be top 3 to 5 in all of baseball, not just the American League, and to be that high in pitching and offense.

Didn't he have TJ in 2018, or did I misread that?

I thought it was 2 year side he came back but I could easily be wrong. I was looking to see what velo he had. Two years back from TJS is easily not enough time

This is a likely a nothing move. We play the waiver game frequently

Yeah, he missed from late May of 2018 until July of 2019.
