Ranger fundamentals, sloppy errors, loyalty to some vets and softness generally were my main beefs. The bullpen games may be not on him but I hated. I do think overall he should have protested the pen more Like letting guys wear the loss when behind. Conversely I thought he should have had guys ready on some late inning comebacks when the guy just did not have it

I cannot put what the BP did to blow game after game on Woodward. Those guys just stunk it up under any type of pressure. The other things, sure, you can blame him but I am not going to blame him for every idiotic thing some of these players did.

They are looking for someone to provide better structure for preparation meetings. They thought that had gotten a "little loose."

Evan asked if there had been a season long issue or something as of late. They said it was a combination, whatever that means.

They wouldn't address questions about the search for a manager until after the season.

Only Beasley has had a conversation with individual players. They did have a team meeting which was headed by Beasley and CY.

yep. there are things a manager can control and things a manager can't. there are certain fundamental things that they influence, such as moving runners over or smarter bullpen management, but they can't make hitters hit and pitchers pitch.
