It can be in some cases but to me the rangers minus Adolis and now Semien and Seager don’t appear clutch. This mentality that we will come back starts with the mgr and an inspirational environment. He came across making excuse generally

possibly but once you got past Semien, Seager, Adolis, Taveras, Lowe and Heim in the lineup it was weak and unreliable. and most of that's the fault of Duran, Smith, Hernandez, Viloria and Thompson being young and still learning and Miller not being able to hit his age

Of Evan's seven I would take Maddon, but I imagine they will consider several guys Evan would have no knowledge of, and a few that he does have knowledge of.

Young, Bochy and Wash would be the main candidates I'd be interested in from that list. Not interested in hiring another bench coach or position coach to be the manager. Not another Banny and Woody...
