Sure, Tony. Sounds a lot like "never ever quit."

How about get your asses out there and play ball. You are all getting paid so play like it. No excuses.
don't know if that would be said and if it was it might have an adverse effect especially on the vets

Vets are no different. Rookies have never had a job except BB so they need structure. Won't hurt them.

Local NBC news did not give much coverage to the firing.

y'all realize what he says to the players and what he says to the media are two different things, right?
One, we can only comment on what is public.

Two, how would anyone know if that same thing wasn't said to the players, along with other things of course.

Three, once these things were made public, they were in essence said to the players.

BTW JD took a tough question basically having to accept part of responsibility for all the missed expectations. He looked a bit beat down to me and pretty diplomatic.

CY looked like a guy on a mission. I took it that He did not think the players were physically or mentally prepared day by day.
Good fundamentals was mentioned a lot. 100% agree. Evidently Woody for emotional which is understandable and JD felt that

I wonder if Woody mentioned that he was an "elite" manager in his meeting with them.
