Two, how would anyone know if that same thing wasn't said to the players, along with other things of course.

Three, once these things were made public, they were in essence said to the players.

Starting to seem like there's just a natural bias against the position of manager full stop. Beasley's had the reins for about 30 minutes and already getting flak.

Shouldn't come as a surprise. Losing Woody didn't change the roster.

Any statements Beasley makes today will not have any bearing on how anyone views him as a manager. He can come out and say he thinks the players should all give 110% and 10 other overused leadership phrases and it wouldn't mean he is a bad, good or mediocre manager.

He is an interim manager. He will handle that role just fine, I would imagine.

TB approach to engaging with players and talk about being prepared is a much different rhetoric than Woody.

Made a statement about doing the ordinary things extraordinary well. If this translates into reality this will make the team a lot better
