They seem to have some decent pitching. Too bad for us that Woodruff came back just in time to face us.

why does this feel like it's going to backfire on them
This could blow up in their face. Like all young MILB he needs time to get it all together. Just my thought.

His OPS is close to being as good as Langford's.

With 44 days left in the season, minor leaguers can come up now, without exhausting their rookie status.

if they're on the 40 and we would still have to send someone down to clear a spot for them but good thought. on September 1st, the active roster increases to 28.

Yeah, I think being concerned with the rookie status is mainly for guys who might be in contention for ROY next year. Not sure we are in that situation as Carter seems to need another year in the minors, or at least another partial year.

other than outfield we seem set for next year, Garcia & ? & ?. CF could be JPM but not sure of who will be our 2024 LF'er. we either are going with a free agent or someone from AAA

Harris should be a candidate, but I think Duran will be in LF. Of course, if he performs poorly over the next 6 weeks that could change.

I really hope Crim and Foscue get a shot at DH next year.

I wonder why Foscue has never been considered for LF.

Not sure what free agents are available for this position. We could rotate much like we have now but not include Grossman anywhere out in the field. Duran would continue to play there in spots just because we need his versatility to also fill in at 3B and SS when needed.

May be they are waiting to see how Duran pans out.

Don’t know about LF and Foscue. And I seriously doubt that we might get Ohtani but if we did he would occupy the DH most if not all of the season leaving Crim and Foscue out of the picture
