Staley says the Niners' defensive players have commented on the newly installed bells and whistles during practice.

"They say it's night and day from what it has been in the past as far as motions and a lot of different formations we run out of that we haven't done in the past," Staley said. "So I like the diversity that we're doing with our play calls."


This is really nice to hear, should be interesting to see what the 49ers are capable of when they aren't telegraphing their punches.
