Tua obviously hadn’t busted, but he isn’t to the point yet where it’s a given that he will be a very successful qb. Obviously Burrow is the real deal, though I can’t stand him, and Herbert could still end up being much better than Tua. Time will tell.

For sure a lot can change but his guy did, in fact, say Tua would bust and it looks like that wont be the case.

Seems the TEAM who screwed up the most is SF with everything they gave up for Lance.......and, sure, Lance, might still be fine but could have stayed put and just taken Fields.

I got respect for people that say what they think. I said Trevor Lawrence would bust lol. That one still remains to be seen.

No issue for making a mistake like that....especially on a QB. why I'm not sure he wouldn't just say his guy screwed the pooch on Tua. at least so far. Hell, looks like I (and many others) did as well. I thought TL would be good but didn't think highly of Herbert. Admittedly, my thoughts were based on his top traits being big with big arm (I only saw him play a few games) and that usually gives me pause. I'd prefer smart and accurate.

Only reason list is so short is because most QBs don't start in their first season.

3,000 yards in a 16 game season is under 190 passing yards per game

That sounds great and all…

But in the modern era 3000 yards is nothing.

24 QBs had over 3000 yards last season.

Basically what that means is that he started as a rookie and never sustained a major injury in his first 9 years.

It isn’t nothing, but it doesn’t mean he is good either.

No doubt. It's just weird that that Raiders fan tried to single out Herbert without taking into consideration Carr's numbers since 2020.

To be fair, Herbert has had far more talent around him than Carr has.

Seems like every season the Chargers are said to be a playoff/SB contender.

Can't really say that about the Raiders.

I don't think there's a more disappointing team in the NFL than the Chargers.
