A fair point but so much about it is different in the NFL, there's a reason the only college coach with any memorable NFL success is Jimmy Johnson, a long ass time ago.

How many of those coaches actually played in the NFL? Spurrier is the only one I can think of.

If you ranked the non-QB skill positions for the projected playoff teams in the AFC?

The Bills would be closer to the bottom than the top. And the teams that have comparable talent there all have elite defenses.

I don't follow college football, how much of the turnaround is his son at QB? People all say Deion will head to the NFL...feels very Urban Meyer ish to me, in college your son can play for you and dominate, in the pros everyone has talent and you have to win with game plans and decisions and cap management.
