A fair point but so much about it is different in the NFL, there's a reason the only college coach with any memorable NFL success is Jimmy Johnson, a long ass time ago.

NFL should really look into flexing thanksgiving games IMO or at minimium at least swapping the times. Detroit is good enough now where they shouldn't be locked into that 12 PM slot.

Also this is another reason why I said the NBA need to try and take thanksgiving from the NFL since that's what the NFL is doing to them on christmas.

Would you rather watch Lakers/Warriors at 430 PM EST or this garbage?

The NBA can put their top stars/teams against each other and will do numbers

Put steph vs lebron or against the celtics

I just think the NFL had no business trying to take Christmas day from the NBA just like they are trying to take Labor Day weekend away from CFB. These sports need to fight back eventually. Had they even said let's do 1 game on Christmas then I could live with it but 2 games that will take the same length of time roughly as 4 of the 5 NBA games is shady business
