Better than 4-8. Don’t worry about us, we will be fine lol.lol @using only basic stats.
You should probably concern yourself with your 6-6 juggernaut.

lol
They were 56-10 with Lincoln Riley and the only season they didn't win at least 11 games was 2020 when seasons were shortened because of Covid. You may want to consider that there may be a ceiling at Oklahoma as far as the recruits they can get and they reached it. Also, the ceiling at USC may be higher.
It's not like OU was racking up a bunch of NC's under Stoops.
I think Utah gave the appropriate response lmaoAnd everyone gets to decide what they get fired up over and as @fightinfunbags said...you get fired up over silly nonsense.

Give me a bit, I’m going to be looking in the mirror when I see your team for a bit. You aren’t going to see anything I haven’t seen.I'm not worried about it. That's why I don't post about your team.
You, on the other hand, can't say the same thing.
I consider USC's ceiling higher because, well USC. SoCal > Norman.
But Stoops was a damn good coach. Tough to win multiple national titles if you're not in the SEC. This century the only teams to win multiple national titles outside of the best conference in the country are my Buckeyes, your Trojans and Clemson.
I think Utah gave the appropriate response lmao
No one says Riley is a terrible coach, he is one of the best offensive minds in the country when he is motivated. He has proven nothing as a head coach, other than how to not leave a program. We will recover, hide and watch. And how many SEC teams have won multiple national titles outside of Bama and LSU? The biggest part of SEC folklore is because of Alabama.
Also, I never said Stoops wasn't a good coach...hell, I'd have been as ecstatic about USC hiring him as I am about Lincoln Riley if that had been who they got.
But butthurt Sooners fans have been trying to pretend Riley is some terrible coach that they're happy to be rid of ever since his move to USC was announced. Meanwhile, USC fans have pretty much said nothing about OU.
I expect you know what you can do with it lol

You should be happy. With where USC was drastic measures were needed and that’s what they did. Even Riley admits now it didn’t go down right but the gloves are off, it’s a pro sport now. I’m afraid Venables might be too good of a person for this world, you don’t have that problem lol. Grinch is not the answer for you though, you will see that. His defense is based on turnovers, which they got in spades this year. They are very cyclical though. You should be able to buy the athletes now to build a real defense. I don’t mean that in a bad way either, it’s just how things are now.All kidding aside, I'm just happy that USC is worthy of being hated again.
For Riley's first season, I have to give him an A.
He took over a team that went 4-8 and was able to completely change the culture, rebuild 1 side of the ball and improve the other side in 1 off-season.
Before the season, I predicted that they would lose the regular season game @Utah and split the UCLA and Domer games. I didn't have them in the PACCG or in the playoff convo. I figured that would be next year. I had them at 10-2 for the regular season.
Considering that when I made that prediction I was met with a lot of "they were 4-8 last year, no way they're going 10-2 this year"...I'll take it.
If I have a complaint, it would be that I would like to see him hire a Special Teams coach. I can't say that they lost any games because of special teams, but a couple of the wins were made a little more difficult. They had a weird stat where the kicker was just over 50% on field goals under 40 yards...but 100% on field goals between 40-49 yards. Punting, punt return, kickoff and kick off return teams were all average at best. With their speed and talent, I would at least expect better return teams.
