Well shit, at least the Lakers won last night.

USC losing an o-lineman before the game, another one during the game and Caleb getting hurt didn't help their cause. But in the 2nd half, they looked like what they are...a talented, but unfinished team that was a year early.

They looked really good and have a manageable schedule over the next 3.

Yep. I was proud of the way they responded to the early goal but as everybody else is saying, the second goal given up in added time is a fucking killer. 2-0 in soccer is like a 34-13 halftime deficit. Looks dire.

They looked exactly how Riley teams have always looked in big games. It’s not hopeless, just hope he didn’t peak his first year there like he did at OU.

You can only rebuild one side of the ball in one off-season. It's why I didn't pick them to win the PAC before the season. If they land some of the defensive recruits that they are in on and pull a couple from the portal, they should be fine. They have a lot of speed on the defense, but they are really undersized. Their best linebacker only weighs 200 lbs. lol

Pulisic rushed that chance and he didn’t have to. Much different story if they score there.

It's hard to scheme against a team like Utah that wants to run between the tackles and pass to huge tight ends when you have no size.
