That is what they are selling. No idea if true or not, but at the all star break all the “experts” were talking how next offseason there was two generational talents coming over. Don’t quote me on the name but one was a SP and the other I think was a 3B. I mean it’s cool, whatever. But I don’t want the Asian market to become HS football recruiting where every year it is a this guy is better than Ohtani while kids in the American and International draft get hosed.

To be fair, Ichiro didn’t exactly help either. When the big contracts failed he basically held the organization hostage.
