Reports just came out that MLB has implemented a tax on Fisher if he sells the team. The dude I was listening to said if he sells the team for 2.2 billion he will owe almost 500 million to the owners. If true that is nuts cause if he sells it for a billion he will owe close to a billion in taxes from MLB plus all of the government taxes.I could be completely wrong on this but I believe the A's have to pay a relocation fee that is split amongst the owners. No reason for them to vote against it.

So assuming behind closed doors he has been talking about selling the team so they waived the relocation fee just to turn it into a sales tax.
