Which IMO, is a mistake. Won’t ever fly with the MLBPA or the owners but they need contraction or relocation not expansion. Tampa and Miami having teams should be an embarrassment for the owners. Giving Charlotte and Nashville a team will put quick money in the owners pocket but I personally don’t think there is enough talent to field 30 teams right now.Yeah basically just means expansion is almost a guarantee now
Yeah well our GM has been wrong more times than not with position players. Could very well turn out good for both, I am mainly looking at it through the lense of I am sick of the Mariners fielding a lineup where they have to pinch hit for multiple playersOh I get why you’re mad
If your gm is right you 100% win the deal tho
That’s a gamble you can make when you have created multiple useful pen arms before
But as a Red Sox fan I’m happy with the move as well

Huh that's weird. Honestly I have no clue why there wasn't at least one protest vote then. I remember when the NBA voted to relocate, both Paul Allen and Mark Cuban opposed it.Manfred already got the owners to waive the relocation fee, which is why is was crazy that it was an unanimous vote. The only thing I see the owners actually get is they get leverage against their current city saying they will have move. Cause evidently the Brewers are next on the hit list.
Though I still don’t get the Tampa thing. The whole thing is they couldn’t get enough revenue in their current location so they are going to build a new one next door? It so weird and I wish they’d just move to Orlando.
