What is it with Dipoto's fetish with below average utility players? I don't get it.we shall see
I would hate this move but A's moving helps Seattle become a 4 for 4 sports town.Everyone knew it would pass but still BS. Stanton would never go against the flow...unless the flow was against the fans of Seattle.
I could be completely wrong on this but I believe the A's have to pay a relocation fee that is split amongst the owners. No reason for them to vote against it.I would hate this move but A's moving helps Seattle become a 4 for 4 sports town.

This is so Dipoto that it's almost comical.
Correct. Raiders moved they too had to pay a relocation fee to all owners.I could be completely wrong on this but I believe the A's have to pay a relocation fee that is split amongst the owners. No reason for them to vote against it.
Good point. I wasn't even thinking about that.I could be completely wrong on this but I believe the A's have to pay a relocation fee that is split amongst the owners. No reason for them to vote against it.
It may be from a Red Sox perspective but from a Mariners perspective they have now traded their closer and one of the better down the stretch relievers for a platoon at 2B when they already have an abundance of platoon players on the team. It’s an interesting trade since the Red Sox have the same problem
New regime moved on
I don’t get how anyone could love it. Maybe not hate it, but I don’t see how there is a justification of thinking at most this is meh deal. They have a better version of him in Dylan Moore and he shouldn’t be getting meaningful AB’s. Plus I just don’t get the trade value. Is there another organization that would trade a meaningful reliever for Sam HaggertyTy from Locked on Mariners says the deal isa home run....lol. They loved all Jerry's moves last offseason too only to blast him after the season.
Manfred already got the owners to waive the relocation fee, which is why is was crazy that it was an unanimous vote. The only thing I see the owners actually get is they get leverage against their current city saying they will have move. Cause evidently the Brewers are next on the hit list.I could be completely wrong on this but I believe the A's have to pay a relocation fee that is split amongst the owners. Though I still don’t get the Tampa thing. The whole thing is they couldn’t get enough revenue in their current location so they are going to build a new one next door? It so weird and I wish they’d just move to Orlando.

Win.win..is best Campbell.is good.i hopeOh I get why you’re mad
If your gm is right you 100% win the deal tho
That’s a gamble you can make when you have created multiple useful pen arms before
But as a Red Sox fan I’m happy with the move as well
