I think it hasn't been as bad because they haven't played yet...This hasn't been as bad as pollock, Wong, lastella, but not a great of season either.
Doesn't feel like we are going to see anything better than last year. At least as this point.

They’re banking on him being able to stay healthy and put up 2019 numbers again. HUGE ask for something that was 5 seasons ago and he’s yet to prove he can stay healthy. Moore back at 2B by All-Star break.Polanco. Just like Frazier and Wong before him, we are getting an older 2B on the downside of his career at least in stats.

Well I hadn’t thought about it. Then today was scrolling the interweb and it seems a lot Twins people think they fleeced the Mariners. Not apples to apples but the way it being talked about is if another team gave up a lot to get Hancock..basically a player who was surpassed by other guys. Won’t pretend to know the Twins at all just kind of eye opening. My worry, yes. He has declined the last few years and hasn't even hit the T-Mobile wall yet.
I think most fans liked the Frazier trade and the Wong trade. Wong bombed hard but at least it seems it was received positively by fansThis hasn't been as bad as pollock, Wong, lastella, but not a great of season either.

Hopefully by then Cole Young continues to rake and can make his debut. If Moore is the starting 2B then the season is basically lostThey’re banking on him being able to stay healthy and put up 2019 numbers again. Smells like 3rd place...............in the division

starting pitching seems to be fine. If they are in the mix by the deadline than maybe add another starter.I would not expect .
Any more really..
But an other pitcher may fit.
But they have Hancock.
And voth..
With lots of bull pen guys.
And woo..
So Kolton Wong basically except the PED’s.Just my two cents. I've watched Polanco for his entire career, he has been in the organization since he was 16. He is an outstanding bat in the clutch. He is a guy that can carry a lineup for weeks at a time when his bat is hot. A great guy in the clubhouse and I'm bummed to see him go.
But the Twins' depth in the infield is deep enough that it was a trade we almost had to make.
The negatives, he's never been a very polished fielder. His arm wasn't good enough to stay at SS and he's not very smooth at 2nd. You absolutely do not want to play him at 3rd unless it's in an emergency, because he looks lost at the hot corner.
His injuries have crept up a little bit in recent years after never once going on the IL in 9 years before 2022. He did get popped for PEDs in 2018. Whether you believe that it was accidental or not, I do not think he'd go back to that given he will want one more big contract after 2025.
Either way, he's a guy that I have always liked and I will be rooting for him.
Video of the guy if interested. He is a runner. The the rebuild continues...

I like that he is a team.guy.He's as good of a hitter as Kolten Wong. But he has more doubles and HR power and he's 3 years younger. This is not a flyer guy that Seattle traded for. This is a very good team guy.
