Garver had 19 HR's on 80 hits which is pretty good. 2 or 3yr deal
Merrifield I think could prosper in T Mobile park. Big park with his speed could net many extra base hits. A 2 or 3yr deal would work

Let the Cubs have him. If Seattle is letting guys go who have a high K rate, he's the wrong guy to have plus he's coming off major injury.

I fully understand. Their age is over 30 but adding these 2 plus trade for a power bat might make this lineup serviceable. Their batting averages is better than most on this team. This is just a thought as we both know Seattle won't do it.

I get what you are saying and agree they will make us better than we are right now. But tired of this. I know I am just preaching to the choir. As soon as we trade pitching, we will be short on pitching. So we will just lose in different ways this year.
