Do you think that is enough? I’m never a fan of saying someone is sure fire star but everyone seems to think that. Plus adding guys? Maybe if the traded Kirby plus when they had Kelenic.

But if Seattle could somehow snag Holliday then that takes away the issue of figuring out whether Young or Emerson need to be kept.

Kirby has great value so I think the deal in theory is possible. I doubt Orioles would do the deal because it only makes them a bit better right now. Long term, batters wear better than pitchers in general. But of course would he ever re-sign long term in Seattle? Why would anyone?

Not sure on Kirby. Did it ever come out that Jerry offered him a contract like he did with Evan White, Kelenic and Gilbert? It seems to me Seattle would be a good place for him to resign. Had he made the comments he made in a bigger market it would’ve been a much bigger story.
