The NFL doesn't want Watson to be available for the Browns 12th game of the season, (the Week 13 visit to Texas). If Watson gets less than 12 games they'll have to delay punishment in order to include that game.

Hear this often but why do they care? Are they supposed to want to help out the Texans who were complicit in the entire ordeal?

Glad it is finally over, well hoping at least. I said 6-10 from the start so this isn't really that surprising. It's just crazy the stupid process they went through, appointing a judge which meant nothing in the long run. Not sticking to precedent, this 11 games is at least building for the future as a major sticking point. It could have been worse so not crazy upsetting. Roger basically has no idea what he is doing though, I will say that.

I said along time ago, the next punishment Goodell and the NFL get right would be the first.

6 games here would not be correct. 12 games to 1 season would be right IMO. I'd say more than a year would be overkill.
