Yeah, and if he does play, that "You sick fuck" will follow him around wherever he plays. And it's going to be a rough spot for traveling Browns fans, have to think about their safety too. There is a ton of baggage that DW brings. Do you dress up your child in a DW #4 Browns jersey? Do you travel and wear a DW#4 Jersey to an opponent's stadium? It's going to be tough for DW to rebuild his image, if he ever can.

The NFL doesn't want Watson to be available for the Browns 12th game of the season, (the Week 13 visit to Texas). If Watson gets less than 12 games they'll have to delay punishment in order to include that game.

With the appeal it's in the CBA to give an expedited ruling from there.

That said if a negotiated settlement is the hold up then that is on both parties

There is not a specific time set no. I think any reasonable person would agree having it run into the season is not expedited
