Celtics offseason has the risk of being either amazing or pretty bad. I dont know if much in-between is out there.

Think about it- you have Kyrie, and Anthony Davis trade rumors.

The Celtics could without a doubt resign Kyrie, and trade Jaylen Brown, Rozier some pieces and like 4-5 first rounders for Davis.

Or they could trade Tatum and a couple firsts for Davis

or Kyrie could leave, Horford could leave, Davis could say NO WAY i am resigning with Kyrie gone and 30M a year tied up in a hobbled Hayward and the Celtics could rocket back to the middle of the Eastern Conference pack.

IT is going to be very interesting to see what happens.

I am hoping Danny has something up his sleeve but let's be honest here... Kyrie isn't happy here and it's well known, should get something for him while they can... Davis is NOT going to sign here long term so why waste trading all those assets away to get him for a one year rental which wouldn't help the Celtics win anything so it would be pointless

So we’ll see how this goes. The injuries to ball and Ingram make the lakers harder to deal with that additional uncertainty.

Brow? Did you mean AD or Lebron? Yes, AD said, "Boston is on my list" as in every nba team. I really don't see him signing long term in Boston.... Well. we did see the huge embrace Irving and Bron gave to each other the other night.

Heck, even IF Kyrie stays it's probably only about a 5-10% chance AD comes here.. Which means Tatum most likely would have to be gone

Very true... I am still on the fence if Danny will do anything... Right now it's looking like he will do anything he can to keep Kyrie... Which isn't a good thing for this team imo

I think that Kyrie getting the max depends a bit on the team. I don't think he's worth a max to a team like the Warriors, Celtics, Sixers, Raptors, etc. as those teams are pretty well set.

But to teams that aren't there yet, but have some pieces, I think he is definitely worth a max deal. I certainly wouldn't have an issue if the Lakers gave him one.
