QB controversy in New England?
Damn if there shouldn't be. Zappe has done a lot.
Looked to me like New York got the calls correct???????I watched the game on gamepass last night. Sorry Ken, I'm not going to get on here and have the game spoiled!
Zappe has room to row. It was not a good 1st half for him.
Patriots tried to run the ball up the middle way to many times. Not Rhamondre's fault!
Nice to see Parker get fired up!
We had 5 receivers with 4 catches.
Red zone offense still suck
Marcus Jones had his interception stolen by officials - review went to New York who fucking hates us as it should!
Zappe did not fumble - review went to New York who fucking hates us as it should!
Too many mistakes!!!!!!
Two good games against bottom dwellers doesn't get you into the Hall of Fame without paying for a ticket.Bailey Zappe Did Something That Hasn't Been Done In 65 Years
Bailey Zappe made some NFL history Sunday in the New England Patriots' convincing victory over the Browns in Cleveland.nesn.com
Here are the pass-blocking grades for every Patriots offensive lineman:And who gave up the Strip Sack?? Yep. Isiah Wynn. That his 7th sack and 2nd strip sack.
I swear he plays for the opposing defense.
It's no wonder they got crushed 38 to 15.Here are the pass-blocking grades for every Patriots offensive lineman:
Mike Onwenu: 88.9
David Andrews: 75.1
Cole Strange: 74.2
Marcus Cannon: 64.5
Trent Brown: 63.5
Isaiah Wynn: 5.0
That’s not a typo. Wynn didn’t earn a 50.0; he earned a 5.0. That’s an astonishingly low grade.

No doubt, absolutely no doubt. Clearly, at a minimum he has us all intrigued.True but two solid victories against bottom dwellers to start your career is a good start to a career considering you were on the practice squad two weeks earlier.
Well I didn't see you say anything about the hand arm going forward? Just the ball.Is that different from what what I wrote?
We all know that he's had a hellacious college career. 16,000+ yards passing, 63 TDs last year at Western Kentucky.True but two solid victories against bottom dwellers to start your career is a good start to a career considering you were on the practice squad two weeks earlier.
Intrigued for sure, I would like to see how he looks against the Jets in two weeks. No doubt, absolutely no doubt. Clearly, at a minimum he has us all intrigued.
He had one year at W. Kentucky four years at Houston Baptist. Let's not pretend he faced genuine talent at either school. If he played in the SEC, Big 10, or 12, PAC 10 I highly doubt those numbers are even close to that.We all know that he's had a hellacious college career. 16,000+ yards passing, 63 TDs last year at Western Kentucky.
According to all of the experts, mac has all of the tools except speed.
Other than being shorter, what tools does Zappe lack?
As far as beating bottom dwellers goes, They also could have won the Ravens game and should have won the Packers game. By a breath, they could be 4-2 or 5-1 with a play or two either happening or not happening (penalties).
They're two games out behind the Bills and one behind the Jets.
The Jets next four games: @Broncos, Patriots, Bills, @Patriots
The Patriots next four games: Bears, @Jets, Colts, Jets
I think the Patriots could be 6-4 or possibly 7-3 a month from now. The Jets should be a measure of how good the Patriots are this season depending on whether or not the Jets are as good as they appear to be.
Yes, and if you combine both our words you've over killed it. I guess the key is, the play passed both of our micro-understandings so why wasn't it over-ruled in replay? My guess, they aren't slowing it down enough because in some cases a frame by frame review can be deceiving. In this case when you are only judging one thing (forward motion yes/no) the slow down is warranted.Well I didn't see you say anything about the hand arm going forward? Just the ball.
Not an issue. It's hard to describe it in words.
Now that the whole team is playing better, wouldn't you also like to see how well Mac can play too?Intrigued for sure, I would like to see how he looks against the Jets in two weeks.
Where did Kurt Warner play? What team wouldn't have like a few years with him at the helm? Tony Romo wasn't as good as Warner, but similar. He had one year at W. Kentucky four years at Houston Baptist. Let's not pretend he faced genuine talent at either school. If he played in the SEC, Big 10, or 12, PAC 10 I highly doubt those numbers are even close to that.
