Sounds like something that boob Solomon would've argued on here.
Die hard Steeler fan with his FUQUER rating. Bradshaw went to 4 SB's with 4 wins -0 losses for 4 pts. Brady went to 10 SB's with 7 wins and 3 losses, so 4 points but extra off for losing . Captain Kirktard states it better not to make it to the SB , then to go and lose. Sorry but your Mahomes is 1 SB win and 1 loss, so 0 you FUQUER

I do like Burrow a lot but if Baker (or another oft ridiculed QB) had the same performance the last 2 weeks this would be the narrative (and, yes, I also think Burrow is better than Baker)....
LV - "needed a first down to put the game away and couldn't get it. D saved him."
TN - "Needed to score to win and couldn't get it. Lucky D gave him another shot and made a whopping 1 pass. D and K saved him."
I kind of think I see where you're going with this, but I'm not sure I really agree...

By that I mean - Burrow has played really, really well.

Against the Raiders he completed almost 71% of his passes for 244 yards and 2 TD's and 0 INT. A QB rating of 110.

Against TEN - He completed almost 76% of his passes for 348 yards. No, no TD's, had the one INT that bounced off someone's hands (not a bad throw) - QB rating 93 - but considering he was sacked 9 times - that's pretty damned good.

The other thing, too, is that other ridiculed QB's are that way because there is some history there of those guys not always closing things out (Though I think Carr has quite a few 4th qtr comebacks, IIRC)...and Burrow hasn't really been around long enough to be in that position - but when he's needed to make some throws - at least this year - for the most part, he has.

In the end, if your QB is completing over 70% of their passes with a 2-1 TD/INT ration in the playoffs and putting up, on average, over 300 yards - I mean...I think there's more than a few teams that would take those.

The biggest inconsistency with Burrow is really the OL - they can't run it, and they can't pass block on a week-to-week basis - so you get games where there are wild swings - when the line protects, they move the ball. When they falter, they struggle....But that struggle is less about Burrow than it is about the OL, as he's shown already he can take a whooping and still produce.

Best I can tell you guys are where the Titans were with Mariota. Titans tanked for two seasons and got their QB and a roster. Browns did the same. The run game and oline got built up. The defense is kinda there.

The question is whether Baker snaps out of that Mariota death spiral of banged up mediocrity. Before he got hurt, he was above that so I give him the benefit of the doubt. To a certain extent. When the Titans replaced Mariota, you saw immediate teamwide improvement. Tannehill level performance should be the expectation for Baker next year. If not then Baker's future is as a bridge QB probably on some other football team.

Saying all that, I do expect Mariota to get a shot at starting again next year. He seems like he should be somewhere in that 20th-25th best QB range.
IF Baker returns as the starter - and this is what I expect, but it's no lock - I do think we'll have a better plan than Keenum if he fizzles (our potential Tannehill, I guess). I think we'll know quickly if it was the injury or he just badly regressed.

To be clear, this is not what I think of Burrow and how he performed in those games. But I can assure you if Baker did the exact same thing those would have been the comments of his critics.

Just curious, but whats the logic behind Murray above Jackson? Murray has a career record of 22-23-1 and was ass in the playoffs. Lamar Jackson is 37-12 and...well also not great in the playoffs in general.

He has Wilson below Cousins. That should tell you everything you need to know…

I think he has Wilson too low, but other than that. His list looks much better than some I have read on here.

Watson is not a great QB. He did not even play one down, for obvious reasons.

When they talk about multiple 1st round picks, after that rap, that’s when you laugh so much that you vomit a little bit.

Watson is a cyborg from the future. Zap!

This list is for the year, not career. Lamar was out, and Wilson hasn't been 100% since he came back

you know why?
all those that rank Qbs but rings.
Rings are a team thing. not an individual thing.
Rings or No rings, Aikman was overrated. Above average I guess

My rankings are only based on this year

Career would be much different

Exactly right lol

If everyone else was doing career rankings and had anyone other than Brady 1 and putting a guy like Matt Ryan in the high teens, low 20s then theyre clearly nentally retarded in some manner lol

Here is my order:
1: Mahomes
2: Allen
3: Rodgers
4: Brady
5: Burrow
6: Herbert
7: Stafford
8: Dak
9: Lamar Jackson
10: Murray
11: Russ Wilson
12: Cousins
13: Carr
14: Jimmy G
15: Mac Jones
16: Mayfield
17: Tannehill
18: Wentz
19: Tua
20: Hurts
21: Fields
22: Ryan

And after that the rest were bad enough that it doesn’t really matter.

But Semian has to be last. He was truly awful.
To think Cousins is better than Jimmy g is enough to ignore the rest of your post.

Murray is certainly difficult to place. When he's physically close to 100% and he has talent around him he's deadly. When he's physically limited and/or doesn't have the reciving talent he almost falls off a cliff.

Because he is five foot nothing and needs his wheels to navigate defenses. I tip my hat to the guy being as good as he has been. Because I thought he'd for sure bust.

He has to figure out why he misses high so often. It's one thing to miss but it's another entirely to miss high. Those are picks like half the time.

He wasn't good for sure but I think we have to wait and see on most of these rookies. Poor coaching and shitty situations and we all pretty much knew they all needed development.
Honestly, I think these rankings should only include QBs with 25+ starts under their belt.
