I don’t think anyone expects dollar store prices, but it’s not wise to spend a decent amount of money on a player who’s position and play doesn’t warrant. Melvin Gordon is not worth 8 mil a year, sorry. He’s a sub 4 yards a carry, who’s often dinged up and cannot carry the load. He’s at best a complimentary rb. I would’ve taken my chances in the draft and spent that money on the o line or Wolfe. Not a fan of this move at all.

Because we need him! Our offense is one of the least explosive/scary offenses in the NFL. We have a good looking young QB. You have to bring him the goods to put him in position to develop and win. We haven't won in 5 years.. Our offense has been lame for 5 years. You don't get better sitting around in free agency scared to sign one of the better all around RB's in the NFL.

To me Gordon is a top 10 RB.

Do people forget how poor this offense has been??? Yes.. We all want to spend money to get the OL and DL better. But at this point @Orange Crush77 who are you gonna sign at OL? We signed Glasgow, we missed out on a tackle like Bulaga (who I doubt was even on our radar, but probably one of the more OT's in our price range). How many Bronco fans whine during the season about not having the playmakers on offense?

I also think it is funny that people think this is a bad contract. 2 year contract. 8 mil a year! That is not a bad contract. Be much different if we were talking 3-5 years 8 mil a year. This is really the perfect contract for Melvin Gordon.

Yes, Gordon gets dinged up so do most RB's. Yes he has missed game... Yes, I understand all of that, but that is why we also have two quality RB's with Linsday and Gordon. Lindsay and Gordon or any RB in the NFL for that matter needs someone who can pick them up and spare them when needed.

What does Fangio's system call for? He wants to run the football and play good defense. What is the point in hiring Fangio if we aren't going to give him the goods he needs to be a successful coach? We knew what kind of coach he was when we hired him so if you truly want him to be successful at what he does, these are the types of moves you need to surround him to be successful.

Sometimes you have to look more at what a player brings to a team then their YPC and compare it to others. RB's YPC's are all pretty similar around the NFL minus a few. 4 yards a carry is a good thing. Don't make it out to be a bad thing. He also shared carries the past two years with a pretty darn good RB himself in Austin Ekeler. Remember, this year he didn't miss any time due to injury. He held out for 4 weeks. He played all 16 gamesin 2017 and in 2018 he had 5.1 YPC...

Why are you getting bothered by who is starting? What matters is how we use them and how they help us in being a better team.

Don't get all bent out of shape that beloved Lindsay has a counterpart next to him. This is a good thing for Lindsay and the entire team. I think too many people here want Lindsay to get 25 carries a game a 10 mil dollar a year contract and life is good. Screw everyone else!!

Think of this in terms of what it brings to the team not what it means for Lindsay starting or not. Pretty well co-starters here if you ask me. Use them the right way and both will be big part of our success.

People who want us to fork over big money on position like DE... I think they forgot or haven't realized what a guy like Dre'Mont Jones is likely to gives us next year... I know @Mingo can preach on with me about this one.

Draft wise.. I would look at a WR, young CB.. ILB/OL

We aren't going to fill EVERY need in free agency. A. We have quite a few B. You have to spend your money wisely... Quality/Quantity wise.
