How much would you pay for Gordon

40 catches and 8 TDs each the last 4 year.

Not one dollar more than the next bidder. Elway is saving the money up for something.

Are we close to signing Gordon to a 1 yr deal?

I just got a notification from Sleeper that says we are close to signing him. No terms of the deal. I hope it is either cheap or short. I like Gordon, but I don't think RBs are high on our needs list. Unless he came way down on his expected price, I can't say I will be a big fan of the move.

It should be pretty cheap. Broncos made the same deal to Freeman and he said no. So must be pretty low.

I'd pass on Devonta Freeman.

My crystal ball says ask again in 2 hours.

Gordon gets me giddy doe!

If we ended up with Bouye, Casey, Glasgow and Gordon that would be pretty nifty. My guess is it won't happen, but this way I wouldn't let myself down. Bills might be offering him the best contract but they also love Devin Singletary. Not a great market at RB...

I would rather sign another cb or Wolfe but I guess 3.8 yards a carry is high on our wish list

It has been a very nice offseason. no panic moves made so far and the contracts line up with where I would be comfortable paying these players (well still don't know on Gordon if it happened).

I know the Broncos are still working on securing another CB (possibly Amukamura or Robey-Coleman seem to be the names I keep hearing) and sounds like Remmers is one they would like to get signed as well. If they can sign Remmers, Gordon, and one of those CB's then really this offseason has to be a huge win for the Broncos.

Let's them go into the draft with very few day 1 needs. WR obviously and I would say coverage LB would be the two that still stick out as huge needs. Good thing the draft is pretty deep at both of those. Oh also Center. Sorry forgot about that.

Agree 100% @cdumler7 I am seeing things change around Denver in the past 1-2 years... The draft's have gotten more appealing and the offseason (especially this one) is more appealing. Last year Kareem Jackson was nice, but the offseason wasn't real appealing... Draft wise... I've enjoyed the last 3.. The draft from 3 years ago though turned into a flop.. Last years draft the first 4 picks all looked better as the season went on and look like 4 guys who will help us going forward.

Chin up fellas!

It does seem like Elway and company have finally learned from what life without Manning should look like. They used to draft a ton of athletes that hadn't really panned out in college football hoping that coaching could do something with them but didn't have great coaches to do such a thing.
Now are drafting high character hard working guys that might not have the highest ceiling but can do something early on in their careers. Also have a coaching staff really dedicated to coaching players up.

Free Agency at least last year still had them taking risk on injury prone players where this year they are doing the exact opposite. Bouye, Casey, Glasgow are all guys that have shown incredible durability. I also appreciate that they have not panicked. Letting Reader walk to another team showed incredible discipline and honestly Casey could be a better player in 2020 than Reader. Long-term yeah Reader made more sense but Casey let's the Broncos get out of the deal any time and gives them some huge flexibility in the cap when they have to sign guys like Lock and Sutton.

Elway gets an A- from me this offseason so far.

I know some people think he can run out and sign anyone he wants, but I think he has done a fine job this offseason.

It looks funny seeing a Broncos logo next to Melvin Gordon's name. I loooooooooooove it!
