I honestly wish I could come to a different conclusion but I can't. That's why I don't see myself venturing over there again. Life's too short.

Hate to hear that Otis. You were only there a short time. Hopefully mine and twisteds ' spat the other night didnt help you come to a conclusion about the Cowboys board as a whole. Most of the regular posters have had their differences with one another in the past. Personally, I normally take the high road unless the Romo bashing gets out of hand. As far as twist and I go, there is only so much one can take. I know you kind of formed a bond with him early and thats great. I normally dont engage in the pissing contests, but the other night was different . In my mind, I had drank a keg- and could have pissed all night.

And - I hope you understand that my rant wasn't an indictment on everyone on the thread. I have actually enjoyed the banter with both you and tw1st3d. There will always be a spat or two between posters. The thing between you guys the other night didn't bother me one bit. It happens and no one is immune to it. I just thought (and - still do) that the response to Heater's post was an unnecessary one that escalated to something unacceptable. I know that Ford has done a great deal to settle down what I understand to have been a really bad scene there in the past. I have no intention of doing anything going forward which would create a situation where he would have to intervene. That's why I think it better for now to just have my crotch kicking sessions over in this forum instead. For everyone.


I look forward to more banter man. And - like I said in my post there - I don't take this thing too seriously and neither should anyone else.

Yep. Showed up one day and the URL had been pointed to a new link promising "new and exciting" change which became nothing more than a stupid fantasy sports site with absolutely no interaction between anyone. Complete waste of time and doomed to failure.


All of the mods have been great as have most Hoopsters. It's great to be on a site where actual moderation take place instead of indifference. I'm sure the vast majority of FN refugees feel the same way.
